Anyone that knows me will tell you that black & white are my go to and all time favourite colours. Not without saying that I don't love colour, but for me it's about adding colour as an accent, which gives that extra pop to your outfit. It shouldn't take over your main colour, and for me that is black/white and or neutrals in general. I chose neon as my pop of colour, and I feel that the way I incorporated it was just right for me.
Having the coat as the pop of colour was subtle and stylish. It isn't an overly bright neon, and allows you to stand out without feeling like that bright pylon in the middle of the road lol. From the the salt & pepper grey round neck sweater, jeans button up shirt, and pleather pants, and thigh high suede boots, the whole look is polished and classic with a trendy feel. For me, my statement pieces for this look are the coat with its pop of colour, and thigh high boots.
I believe you are your own trend, and whatever you like, that should be how you put your pieces together. By all means I do like a good trend piece, but I don't base that on how my outfits are put together.
Until next time,
Jo xoxo
